Surface Chemistry

Dedicated chemical fume hoods are available for surface modification and (bio)chemical activation, including silanization and other functionalization reactions. The facility supports established protocols for introducing functional groups, such as amines, thiols, and other reactive moieties, onto a variety of substrates. Both liquid-phase and vapor-phase chemistries can be performed within the dedicated workspaces to ensure reproducible and controlled surface preparation.
