SBME High School Open House
The School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) invites students in high school, along with their families, to visit the recently opened Gordon B. Shrum Building for the SBME High School Open House. UBC’s Biomedical Engineering program is hands-on, design-focused, and highly interdisciplinary. It challenges students to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems in medicine and health care, preparing them for diverse and impactful careers in these fields.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Explore how you can transform health care through technology and innovation, watch live demonstrations in our state-of-the-art teaching labs, connect with current SBME students and staff, and join the SBME scavenger hunt with the opportunity to win swag. Also, experience the new Gordon B. Shrum Biomedical engineering Building – Canada’s first purpose-built home for biomedical engineering education and research.
