Reports & Forms
The following reports must be completed by all MASc and PhD students:
• Annual Progress Report: once per year; deadline: April 30th, 2023.
• Supervisory Committee Report: once or more per year; deadline: May 31st, 2023.
• Supervisor-Student Agreement: once per program; deadline: 1 month from program start date.
• Supervisory Committee Members Proposal Form: once per program; deadline is 8 months from program start date.
Reports are typically submitted through CANVAS. Forms can be found in our Forms (add link when page is done) page.
Graduation Deadlines
• November Graduation: deadline to apply is the third week of October. Thesis must be accepted* in cIRcle by end third week of October. All courses must be completed by end of April.
• May Graduation: deadline to apply is the third week of February. Thesis must be accepted* in cIRcle by third week of April. All courses must be completed by end of October.
• *Students are expected to submit their thesis 3-5 days before the approval deadline in order to have time for corrections.

Program Length
• MENg: 5 years to complete degree.
• MASC: 5 years to complete degree.
• PhD: 6 years to complete degree. {Students who transferred from a MASc: the start date is equivalent to the date their MASc program started (not the transfer to the PhD program)}.
