Program Completion Requirements

The following document may be used by students to track their progress throughout their program of study, and ensure that they meet the requirements of the program prior to graduation. Seminar and thesis courses

All research students are required to register in their relevant Thesis course all year round (both winter and summer terms). Seminar courses are mandatory in each winter term (no seminars are held over summer). Students normally register in full session section of the course (Term 1-2). The Term 1 only or Term 2 only section may be used by new students arriving at other than usual registration periods, or by students nearing completion of their studies.

PhD students are required to demonstrate substantial equivalence to the BME MASc program in their previous work.
